Domain rank checker
A domain rank (or domain authority) score estimates how strong a website’s link profile is compared with others. It is not a Google metric, but it is a useful way to compare your site with the stores you compete with.

What the domain rank check shows
- Authority score: An estimate of link strength on a 0–100 scale, comparable across sites.
- Referring domains: How many different websites link to the domain — worth more than the raw number of links.
- Competitor comparison: Your domain against the stores you compete with, inside Domain Overview.
- Traffic estimate: Estimated organic traffic and keywords, when the keyword data service is connected.
How to raise your domain rank honestly
- Recover links you already earned: redirect dead pages that other sites link to (301).
- Find sites that link to your competitors but not to you, and give them a reason to link — data, guides, products worth mentioning.
- Get listed in the directories and citations your market uses.
- Publish pages worth linking to: buying guides, comparisons and original data.
- Avoid bought links and link schemes — they break Google’s spam policies.
Questions people ask
- Is domain authority a Google ranking factor?
- No. Google does not use third-party authority scores. They estimate link strength, which is one of the many things Google does consider.
- Why is my domain rank different in each tool?
- Each tool crawls a different part of the web and scores it its own way. Compare scores from the same tool only.
- How long does it take to improve domain rank?
- Months, not days: it follows the links your site earns over time.
